Here is a list of magazines that I subscribe to: Allure, Glamour, All You, Redbook, Family Fun, Better Homes and Gardens, Fitness, More, Baby Talk, Saveur, Surfing Magazine, I also get several clothing catalogs. The first thing I do is read the photographers write-ups / bios. Then I look for the story or spread that they shot and go through it. I also love looking at the ads and they way they were shot and processed. One of my new favorites is Surfing Magazine. In one of the latest issues, I saw this photo that was just incredible!! So I ran to the computer and searched for the photographer, and found tons of great pictures and things he had done. Anyway, if you need a little inspiration or a good way to pass time free time and learn something new (free time, what’s that??)….magazines!

The photographer that I found in Surfing Magazine is Daniel Russo. He does some incredible work! Here are just a few of his awesome images in a recent blog post. I’m not sure how he gets some of these shots he must have a really rad set-up! If you didn’t click that link, go back and click it! Aren’t you glad you did. What in the world kind of set-up is that? So then I searched for red cameras and learned something new.
